Top 10 Facebook tricks that most people use on Facebook

Facebook is an onl... just kidding. I am not here to bore you with meaningless things you already know so lets get to the interesting part. Below are some useful tricks that i found to be quite helpful in my Facebook-ing life.
Here you go,

1 . Sign Out of Facebook Remotely 

What's the worst thing your friends can do if you forgot to log-out your facebook account on their Pc… Don't want to imagine do you? If you don't then this tricks is for you.
All you have to do is login to your account, go to your 'Account Settings', then 'Account Security'. Here, you can choose to be notified via Sms or email if a new computer or mobile device logs into your account And you can also view the latest activity, including the time, location and device that accessed your account. If any of these locations seem suspicious, you can choose "end activity" to log out of them.

2: Use One-Time Passwords to Access Facebook

Using Facebook on the go in hotels, cafes or airports can jeopardize your account's security. To shore up security, use one-time passwords. 
To receive your one-time password, text "otp" to 32665 (FBOOK) on your mobile phone and you'll receive a password that can be used only once and expires in 20 minutes. This feature is only available in the U.S.


3: Control App Access to Your Facebook Data

Facebook's Application dashboard has a number of options to help you view which apps you're using, control what info the apps can access and remove apps you no longer want.

 To do this, simply login to your Facebook account and click "Privacy settings", now scroll down the page and you will see "Apps, Games and Websites". Click "Edit settings" and .. well.. Edit settings!


4: Enable Advanced Login Approvals

Facebook's "Login Approvals" is optional, but recommended for all Facebook users. If you activate this setting, you'll be required to enter a code that Facebook sends to your mobile phone via text message whenever you log in to the site from a new device. If Facebook sees a login attempt from a device that you haven't saved, you'll be notified the next time you log in.
To enable this option, visit "Account Settings" then click "Account Security" and choose "Edit." Scroll down to "Login Approvals" and click the box to enable it.

A fast nifty way to chat with your Facebookies right from your desktop (i.e, without signing in to your Facebook account through your browser) is through these cool desktop applications: Adium or ChitChat

Anyways, if you want to downlaod your photos from facebook it can quite easily be done through a cool Windows Application named FotoBounce or a great Firefox add-on FacePad

If you use internet then you probably know about the utterly expressive trolls and memes. Now, wouldn't it be cool if you can use them on facebook chat and comments yes? then goto FacebookMemes and get your codes to use in comments and chats.

10. Hide your online status from facebook friends
